Today, National Mill Workers Union staged protest against the State Governments policy at Parel. They asked for the minimum wages of Rs 18,000 and pension scheme of Rs 3000 per month. National Mill Workers president Sachin Ahir alleged that government is trying to strangulate the workers by not giving them basic privileges.
