Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), like its ideologically similar party Shiv Sena, is known for its violent actions. After its reservations against the Hawkers, the MNS has objected to the ruling government’s Nanar Project. MNS has a history of resorting to violence for every objection over any issue, some of the party workers on Monday sabotaged the Refinery office in Tardeo, Mumbai.

However, the issue is objectionable to the farmers of the area too as it will affect the ecologically-sensitive area. The state government announced to set up oil refinery project at Nanar worth ₹3 trillion. The farmers have said that they will agitate against the Nanar project.

Earlier on Sunday, MNS chief Raj Thackeray slammed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over this issue. After this incident happened where party workers attacked the Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals office.

Almost 20 to 25 MNS led by Sachin Gele destroyed the Refinery office and later, the police reached the spot and investigated.
