Adani Group chief Gautam Adani and NCP President Sharad Pawar both met at Sharad Pawar's Silver Oak bungalow. A two-hour discussion was held behind closed doors. Details of these discussions are being kept strictly confidential. However, there is no doubt that this meeting has acquired a unique significance in view of the events that have taken place in the last few days. Gautam Adani arrived at Sharad Pawar's residence at Silver Oak in his black car at 10:00 am.

There was an uproar after the Hindenburg report came out stating that Gautam Adani had committed corruption of INR 20 thousand crores. The political atmosphere was tense in the winter session. However, a few days ago, Sharad Pawar had said that he had not heard the name Hindenburg. It was also said that the Supreme Court Committee would be appropriate in this case instead of the JPC. In the background of all that, the meeting between Gautam Adani and Sharad Pawar is indicative. Neither Adani nor Sharad Pawar have revealed any details about what exactly was discussed. No one else was present when Sharad Pawar and Gautam Adani met each other.

Sharad Pawar has expressed a clear and firm opinion that there is no need for JPC i.e. Joint Parliamentary Committee in the Gautam Adani case. He has also given a reason for it. Not only this, other issues in the country are more important than Adani's case. I have never even heard the name Hindenburg. Sharad Pawar has also said how to trust the report of that company.

Sharad Pawar had presented this position in an interview given to a news channel. After the Congress opposed this position, Sharad Pawar held a press conference the very next day and said that he had expressed his opinion.
