Three former corporators of Shiv Sena's Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena on Tuesday. They included Praveen Shinde, former corporator of Ward No. 73 in Jogeshwari, Pratima Khopde, former corporator of Versova assembly constituency and Snehal Shinde, former corporator of Ward No. 88. 


Along with them, more than 100 officials from Jogeshwari, Versova and Vile Parle divisions also joined the party in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, as claimed by the Shinde group. Chief Minister Shinde welcomed all of them into the party and wished them all the best for their future journey. So far, 33 former corporators of the Thackeray group have officially joined the Shiv Sena in Mumbai and now the number is 36, he said at this time. This former corporator said that she decided to join Shiv Sena after being inspired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's activities.


The Chief Minister said on this occasion that since the grand coalition government came to power, many development works have been started rapidly in Mumbai and due to this, efforts have been started to make this international city a truly international city. Speaking on this occasion, he said that by speeding up the redevelopment of the stalled buildings in Mumbai, the Marathi man who left Mumbai will be brought back to Mumbai.

The process of making the city completely pothole-free by concreting the roads in Mumbai has started. After the rain stops, the work of making cement roads will speed up. Therefore, the Chief Minister said that the roads in Mumbai will be pothole-free in the next two to two and a half years. He said that many people from all over Maharashtra are joining Shiv Sena, not only from Mumbai. 


Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also said that those who joined the Shiv Sena today will definitely be given development funds to complete the stalled development works in their wards.
