Sena suffers 'loyalty shifts'

SHARES

Mumbai - The shifting of loyalties within parties is growing day by day, and the Shiv Sena has suffered two blows back to back.
Yuva Sena leader Amar Pawle joined the Bharatiya Janta Party recently and after him, former BEST Committee President and Corporator Nana Ambole has also hopped over to the BJP. In presence of Mumbai Party President Ashish Shelar, the ceremony to induct Ambole was conducted.
The Shiv Sena is providing tickets to all those candidates who have left their parties and joined hands with the Sena. The fact that the party isn't giving ticket to its loyal leaders apparently annoyed Nana Ambole which led to his exit from the party. Ambole's ward in the restructuration has now been reserved for women. Ambole wanted his wife to contest from that ward, but was not provided a ticket and hence his exit from the Sena. The polls are indeed turning interesting.
