Navi Mumbai district Shiv Sena contact head Kishore Patkar has tried to give some relief to the housewives who are struggling with the household, tomatoes are being distributed to the residents of Navi Mumbai at cheap rates as per availability. On July 18, it was sold in Vashi sector 9 and 10 area at a moderate price and it will be sold ward wise in the city as per the availability.
Tomatoes, which have become essential in everyday cooking, have reached their highest ever price. Due to the high price of tomatoes i.e. INR 150 to INR 170 per kg, the household kitchen budget has collapsed.
Navi Mumbai district Shiv Sena liaison chief Kishore Patkar has tried to lighten the burden of housewives to some extent. On their behalf, tomatoes will be made available to the residents of Navi Mumbai at a cheap rate of INR 20 per kg. The aim is to give two kilos of tomatoes to every household. 20 percent politics and 80 percent social causes are being implemented according to the teachings of Balasaheb Thackeray, said former corporator and Shiv Sena contact chief Kishore Patkar.
