On Tuesday, November 16, Maharashtra minister, Nawab Malik posed a question on why the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was attempting to save one of the organizers of the drugs on cruise, Kashif Khan, asking what his relationship with NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede is, reported the PTI.
He went to allege that Wankhede and Khan have a “strong relationship”. Malik went on to tweet purported chats of K P Gosavi, the NCB witness and an “informer” from Delhi that according to Malik highlights that were looking to trap those attending the party on the cruise.

According to the report, Malik claimed that this is Wankhede’s private army, therefore, he has many answers to give.
Nearly 20 people were arrested in the drugs on cruise case that included Aryan Khan, Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan’s son. Last month, Gosavi was arrested by the Maharashtra police for alleged forgery.
Malik believes that the “informer” who is claimed to be based in Delhi informed Gosavi about Khan. Prompting Malik to ask why Kashif Khan wasn’t being questioned and what his relationship with Wankhede is.
Based on the account, Malik is of the opinion that the drug business persists in Goa which is under the NCB Mumbai office’s jurisdiction, through the Russian mafia. He added that action isn’t undertaken in Goa because the business flourishes through Kashif Khan.
Malik alleged multiple cases of supposed forgery against Kashif Khan and asks why NCB was attempting to protect him. He further elaborated that Khan tried to lure Congress Minister Aslam Shaikh and other top ministers of the state government’s children to the cruise.
Therefore, Malik believes the drugs on cruise raid to be fake and accuses NCB and Wankhede of framing individuals.
