On the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray addressed a rally at Shivaji Park. A huge mass had joined the rally which happened on Sunday evening and Thackeray addressed the rally with the slogan of ‘Modi-mukt India’. He called out to all the political parties across India to come together and march towards Modi-free India.

The irony of the matter is, Raj Thackeray had praised Narendra Modi for the 2014 Lok Sabha election, and now four years after his review, Raj Thackeray has now given a slogan of Modi-free India.

Jitendra Awhad, member of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) said that finally, Thackeray has understood what Prime Minister Narendra Modi is and also responded to his speech saying, “Der aaye lekin durust aaye.” (Though he realised it late but at least he realised.)

It is worth mentioning that before addressing the MNS workers, Raj Thackeray had met NCP President Sharad Pawar. The discussion between them raised the chances of a possible alliance between the two parties. However, Sharad Pawar wasn’t seen during the rally as he was busy in Delhi.
