They want to scare the party workers by filing a molestation case against me and put me behind the bars. When you enter the battlefield, you don't care about the consequences and during this time you only fight, responded NCP leader Jitendra Awad while talking to reporters in Thane on Thursday.

He said he had gone to Sahyadri Guest House to meet state administrative officer Bhushan Gagrani for some important work. Awhad clarified that he did not meet Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Clarifying on development works, Awhad said if someone wants to take credit for these works, let them take it. I don't want to get into that argument.

NCP's senior corporator Najeeb Mulla is being defamed, said Awhad. I have been saying from the beginning that Mulla will not leave the party. NCP leader Ajit Pawar has also said that he will not leave the party. He has gone to Delhi for a bank meeting, hence he was not present at the meeting of corporators held by Ajit Pawar.  Awhad informed that Mulla also met party president Sharad Pawar in Delhi.
