Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday rebuked the speculations and said that Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra will complete its full five-year term. He said that there was no disagreement between the three-party alliance in Maharashtra.

Raut’s remarks come a day after MVA leaders including Sharad Pawar, Anil Deshmukh, Jitendra Awhad went to Matoshree which set a major commotion of speculations in the political circles.

The order to transfer 10 IPS officers of the Deputy Commissioner of Police ( DCP) rank officers of Mumbai Police and its revocation by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has mounted trouble yet again among the three-party Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

The media reports suggest that the meeting at Matoshree was called to make sure that the allies in the MVA are not on different pages in the future. On Sunday, it was learnt that Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh met Thackeray at latter’s residence.

However, Raut said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was doing a great job and there were no disagreements among the three allies - Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

“The Chief Minister is paying attention to the smallest details. There is no mess. The government has been formed by senior leaders who have the experience,” the Shiv Sena leader said.

He further added that there might be a difference of opinion but not disagreements. Raut said that even Pawar was satisfied with the performance of the government. Sharad Pawar had visited Matoshree on Monday likely to clear the air over the DCP transfer issue but Raut said that he visited as a “father figure”.

The Shiv Sena leader added that all the decisions now are being taken after discussion among the three allies and in consultation with the CM.
