Colaba - Take a close look at this banner. Code of conduct is being implemented for the BMC election and yet these banners have been put up at Colaba. This only shows that political leaders are fearless of the State Election Commission and do not care about the code of conduct.
A special squad has been set up that will pull down illegal banners across the city. This team will take action against those who have put up the banners and then against those who will put up the banners thereafter,” said Kiran Dighavkar, A ward's assistant municipal commissioner.
Whoever has put up the banners will be punished and the administration will remove the banners.
