Now, deputation period to be only 10 years

Mumbai – The government officers who wish to go on deputation to join local governing bodies, government agencies and temple trusts may have to face difficult times as the State government has formed a sub-committee to decide the policy for deputation. Such a policy was decided in the State cabinet meeting in which ministers had suggested some corrections. According to state finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, the general administration department has prepared a proposal that government officer will be able to go on deputation for the period of only 10 years.
