Dadar- It's been 50 days, and the Mumbaikar is still struggling with the aftermath of demonetisation of high value currency notes.
PM Narendra Modi had made the announcement about demonetisation on 8 November 2016, plunging the country into confusion. The junking of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes left people in the lurch. Long queues outside banks and ATMs and petrol pumps were de rigeur. Till date, the RBI has made a plethora of announcements, rules and regulations for crediting and debiting money in banks and ATMs. Has the life of the common man truly changed for the better?
