Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Monday, is set to meet Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora in Delhi. Thackeray is expected to raise concerns over the issue of reliability of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). 

MNS party workers informed that Thackeray will also raise other issues with the CEC with a demand to conduct Maharashtra assembly elections on the ballot paper. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Thackeray has been constantly against the use of EVMs in the polls. 

After the LS poll results, MNS chief Raj Thackeray has opposed the EVM raising concerns over it. Earlier, Thackeray had reportedly met Maharashtra Chief Election Commissioner Neela Satyanarayan and some IT experts regarding the same.

After his meeting with CEC, Thackeray might also meet top leaders in Delhi. The MNS chief is in New Delhi after 14 years. Before this, Thackeray visited Delhi in the year 2005.
