National President of NCP Sharad Pawar called a meeting of the National Executive of the party in Delhi today. Many office bearers of the party including Supriya Sule, Jitendra Awahar were present in this meeting. After this meeting, Sharad Pawar decided to expel nine ministers who took oath including Ajit Pawar from the party. Along with this all these people have been suspended from the party.
Sharad Pawar has warned that those who break the party will have to pay a heavy price. He said that we will go among the public and will have full faith in the public. MPs Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare have been suspended from NCP and this was announced after the NCP meeting in Delhi.
Eight resolutions have been passed in the national meeting of NCP today. It was clarified in this meeting that National President Sharad Pawar has the right to suspend anyone who goes against the ideology of NCP. The National Executive of NCP has expressed full confidence in Sharad Pawar.
Sharad Pawar said that there is no truth in the news of the appointment of the new President of NCP and I am the National President. He also explained that if someone makes some appointments, it will not make any sense. Sharad Pawar told the media that we have faith in the Election Commission and we will present our case before the commission.
