Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray filed his nomination on October 3 from Worli constituency for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra which are scheduled on October 21.
Along with this, Shiv Sena candidate Aditya Thackeray declared his assets which are nearly worth ₹16 crores including a BMW car. In a fun fact, Aditya Thackeray has more assets than Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
While Gandhi's declared assets are worth ₹15.88 crores, Thackeray wins by a margin with ₹16 crores. Gandhi's assets were declared recently during his nomination from Wayanad Parliamentary constituency in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Aditya Thackeray's movable assets are worth ₹11.38 crores while his father Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray possesses movable assets worth ₹1.67 crores.
The Yuva Sena chief is a lawyer. However, his affidavit shows that his income source is from a business. Aditya Thackeray has cash worth ₹13,344 while Uddhav Thackeray has ₹39,123 in cash.
Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray is the first in his family to contest elections. Thackeray’s immovable assets are worth ₹4.67 crores.

It was further revealed that Aditya Thackeray owns five agricultural lands in Bilawale village in Khalapur Tehsil of Raigad district. The market value of all these plots is nearly ₹77.66 lakh and the same was gifted by his father on April 8, 2013. Thackeray also owns two commercial shops in Thane.
