Shiv Sena ministers received a flak for not being present in a house when the assembly unanimously handed over the mayor's bungalow for the Bal Thackeray memorial.
NCP MLC Dhananjay Munde criticized that Shiv Sena ministers saying that this is an insult of Late Balasaheb Thackeray. He added that it is a shameful act by the Shiv Sena. When guardian minister Eknath Shinde was asked about the minister's absence, he said that it’s no big deal.
As no Sena leaders were present, NCP MLAs demanded that the decision of passing the bill for the Bal Thackeray memorial be postponed but the assembly passed the bill in the absence of Shiv Sena ministers.
