Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray Slams BJP and PM Modi at Dussehra Rally

In a fiery speech at the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction)'s Dussehra rally at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, party leader Uddhav Thackeray launched scathing attacks on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of hypocrisy and misuse of power.

“Sonam Wangchuk, who has dedicated his life to the nation and is fighting for Ladakh’s rights, is labelled a traitor for attending a conference in Pakistan. But what about Modi, who secretly visited Pakistan to eat cake with Nawaz Sharif? Who gave him that right?”

On PM Modi's Visit to Manipur:

“Manipur burned for three years, and the Prime Minister didn’t even bother to visit. Now, just because the name has ‘Mani’ in it, he goes there but still fails to see the tears in people’s eyes.”

On BJP's Use of Power:

“To make the lotus bloom, they’ve spread filth. The BJP has misused laws, jailed people through unfair means, and corrupted the system for power.”
