Budget Session to start on February 18 in Maharashtra

After a lot of chaos, the Maharashtra Assembly winter session ended on November 30 and the budget session which was scheduled for next year, was also announced. 

State Legislative Council chairman Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar and Legislative Assembly chairman Haribhau Bagde announced that Maharashtra budget session will start from February 18.

According to sources, the state budget will be introduced in Maharashtra Assembly by state finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. This will be the last budget presented by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis because the elections are scheduled next year.
