Mumbai – If the government has suspended 19 opposition MLAs for demanding loan waiver for farmers, then we had also demanded the same. We should also be suspended along with them, demanded leader of opposition in Legislative Assembly Radharkrishna Vikhe Patil and other opposition leaders including Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil in a letter written to Speaker Haribhau Bagde.
These opposition leaders further mentioned in their letter that the opposition parties have been demanding loan waiver for farmers from last two weeks. But the government, with a feeling of vengeance, took action of suspending 19 opposition MLAs by citing the reason of chaos created during state budget presentation. The suspension of nine months (till December 31, 2017) is unjust and hence we should also be suspended along with them, demanded these leaders.
