Those opposing Biharis are now calmed down: Nitish Kumar

Without taking the name of MNS president Raj Thackeray, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has said that those people who had opposed the celebration of the Bihar Day in Mumbai have now been calmed down.

“The people of Bihar do not remain dependent on anyone. The Bihari people are settled everywhere and they have created an identity of themselves on the basis of their knowledge and abilities,” he stated in a programme organised at a five-star hotel in the city on Saturday.

The Maithili Coordination Committee had organised a programme to congratulate Nitish Kumar. In his speech, the Bihar chief minister indirectly criticised prime minister Narendra Modi. “I do not copy others as people can experience the development we carried out. We do not advertise the development work done in Bihar because people themselves are doing that,” he said.

As Nitish Kumar has made this statement, it would be interesting to see how the MNS react on it.
