Dahisar- Congress came out with their first list of their probable candidates and has upset many candidates. Many of them were looking forward to tickets but it happened otherwise. Upset interested candidates now are planning to change their loyalties.
Dahisar’s ward no. 3 which is considered as a Congress battalion will suffer the most. Late corporator Rajendra Prasad Chaube’s son Abhay Chaube got the ticket to contest the elections. This has upset the Chauthiprasad Gupta, president, Indian National Trade Union Congress and block president Pradip Nair who are considered to be the strongest candidates. Both are planning to join other political parties and contest against Congress. “After working for 25 years, Congress did not acknowledge our work and it’s unfair,” said Chauthiprasad Gupta.
