Uddhav Thackeray group's deputy leader Dutta Dalvi finally gets bail

Deputy leader of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction and former Mumbai Mayor Datta Dalvi has got bail. Dutta Dalvi got bail from Mulund Court, he was released on a bond of INR 15,000. The court clarified that the bail was granted because the accused is a senior citizen and has some co-morbidities and there is no fear of him fleeing. Dutta Dalvi was arrested for abusing Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in a meeting.

Dutta Dalvi was involved in a case of making derogatory public statements against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He was arrested in this case. Dutta Dalvi is one of the staunch Shiv Sainiks of UBT group. After the split in Shiv Sena, Dalvi had announced his support to Thackeray. Dutta Dalvi was in the news for making derogatory remarks about the Chief Minister. Objecting to the language of Dutta Dalvi, a complaint was lodged at Bhandup police station.

In this case, the police registered a case under sections 153 (A), 153 (B), 153 (A) (1) C, 294, 504, 505 (1) (C) of the IPC and arrested him. After this, when he was produced in the court, judicial custody of 14 days was also ordered, finally on December 1, he was finally released on bail.
