Taking a dig at Reliance, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday said that if they are giving internet services for free, they should provide free of cost too.

Addressing a meeting organised by cable owners association at Rangsharda Hall, Thackeray assured the cable owners that “I won’t sit quietly until you get justice. I have come here to give you strength.”

Cable Owners Association across Maharashtra have been worried that Jio’s ‘Giga Fiber’, which provides various facilities to its customer including internet services, will eat into their market share. The Shiv Sena chief said that first reliance made the internet services free and after a few months when the competition is finished, the rates are increased for the same.
