All political parties in the entire country including Maharashtra have started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. While on one hand the talk of seat sharing has just started in the NDA led by BJP, on the other hand in the opposition India alliance too, the formula for seat sharing has not been decided at many places. Meanwhile, Union Minister and President of Republican Party of India (A) Ramdas Athawale has given an important statement.
Intention to contest elections on 8-10 seats
Republican Party of India (A) President Ramdas Athawale said, "...Our party will contest on 8-10 seats... We should get 1-2 seats in Maharashtra, our effort is to get a total of 8-10 seats”.
