    Mumbai – As voting for the BMC elections is over, everybody is now anxiously waiting for the results. The counting of votes will take place on Thursday. The political fate of many prominent candidates including Mayor Snehal Ambekar, Yashodhar Phanse, Trushna Vishwasrao, Shraddha Jadhav (all from Shiv Sena); Manoj Kotak, Atul Shah, Prabhakar Shinde (BJP); Rais Shaikh (SP); Dilip Lande (MNS); Saeda Khan (NCP) will be decided on Thursday.

    The Mumbaikars have especially attracted towards results in 52 wards across the city. Though the exit poll has indicated the swing in favour of the Shiv Sena and the BJP, whom Mumbaikars have actually favoured will be out soon.

    The counting of votes will be held at 23 centres across the city where 8,480 ballot units are being kept under security. The counting of votes will begin at 10 am after thorough checking of the ballot units (EVMs) in presence of election officers and concerned authorities. The initial trends will start coming around 10:30 am and the city will witness whom the citizens have selected and whom they have ordered to sit at home.
