Andheri- Revision of BMC wards has open new opportunities for the women corporators. Shiv Sena's Rajul Suresh Patil has scored over Shiv Sena's Raju Pednekar for this ward. In the year 1997, 2002 & 2007 Rajul Patel contested mayor elections consecutively for three years but couldn't do so in 2012 elections. However, ward revision has given new hope to Rajul Patel and her followers.
