Maha govt. cancels 3,612 cr housing tenders

Mumbai- MHADA has canceled the tender with a company who was appointed to develop affordable homes under Prime Minister housing Scheme. According to the housing minister Prakash Mehta, irregularities were found in the Rs. 3,612 crores tender and so it was canceled. MHADA had taken out tenders on 24th October to develop 33,520 for the very low-income group while 6250 homes for the low-income group in MMRDA region.
