Mumbai – Along with Mumbai, across Maharashtra cooperative housing society’s law will be easy to understand. Not only this, the state government will make amendments in Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. State government has formed a committee under Ramesh Prabhu that will submit its report to the government in this regard.
Agriculture institute, credit societies and housing societies are being run on the same laws. There was a demand to make different rules for housing societies and hence government has given a green signal for the same.
State government will make the decision after studying the report.
