13-year-old rape victim gives birth to a child

After the Supreme Court allowed a 13-year-old rape victim to abort her 31-week-old fetus, but doctors claimed that the girl would’ve been at risk had she gone ahead with the abortion. To protect the girl's life, doctors went ahead the c-section and the baby was born. 

The 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a certain Fayyaz Ahmed, and she was repeatedly assaulted by that man who stays in the same locality.

The surgery was carried out at J.J Hospital and Dr. Nikhil Datar was the petitioner in this case.
