An incident that shook the entire Maharashtra took place in the Patripul area of Kalyan. Yogita Rumale, a resident of Hyderabad, had come to Bhiwandi to give birth to her parents. Despite the heavy rain, she had left home along with her father Dnyaneshwar Pogool on Wednesday to take her six-month-old baby to Wadia Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. On the way back, Ambernath local train was standing near Patripul for a long time. There were no signs to go to the local Kalyan railway station. Like other passengers, Yogita and her father also got down and started walking along with the people who were walking towards Kalyan station from the railway tracks. At this time, the baby slipped from the hands of the grandfather and fell into the nearby stream.

At this time, many tried to save the baby, but due to the rapid flow of the stream, the baby was not found even after two days of searching. The first reaction of this baby's grandfather is coming out now. One of the questions asked by the entire Maharashtra is why did you get down from the train? He has also commented on this.

Grandfather's reaction

The child's grandfather says, “We wanted to get off at Kopar, but we stopped as Kalyan station was near. We left at 12 o'clock but the train stopped at Dombivli Kalyan creek for two to three hours. After getting down from the train, my daughter (Yogita) fell first as her feet slipped, then we picked her up and started walking again. At first the baby was in the girl's arms but when she slipped I took it in my arms. I was also wearing a plastic raincoat so the baby slipped from that raincoat. Moreover, since the path was slippery, I was going to fall later, but in the process of regaining my balance, my grand-daughter slipped from my hand and fell.”

“We were taking our baby to Wadia Hospital for the last six months. On that day too, the date of check up was the same, so we left home. On the way back, the train stopped for a long time between Kalyan Dombivli and everyone was getting down. We have to go to Mumbai for such treatments because Bhiwandi does not have such health care facilities. If there were such big hospitals in Bhiwandi, this incident would not have happened."
