Every bit counts, every helping hand matters. Be it in the form of a volunteer, sponsor, donor or supporter, Angel Xpress Foundation (AXF) is grateful to all!

AXF is a 12A & 80G certified NGO that enables the socially-conscious to give back meaningfully. Their intent is to train volunteers so they can tutor, mentor and groom children into becoming better people, citizens, and future providers for their families. An initiative that was started by Anubha Sharma and Beena Advani, has now a strong team of over 550 volunteers that give daily lessons to school going children from slums across 20 locations in Mumbai.

Every year the volunteers of Angel Xpress Foundation, along with their families, and their various supporters, come together from across Mumbai to joyfully celebrate another year of grace in their lives. AXF has provided them with the opportunity to transform lives and receive an abundance of love in return.

As the previous years, this time too, Angel Xpress Foundation's 8th Day of Grace was held at the At Bandra Fort Amphitheatre on the 1st of Feb, a perfect location to enjoy Mumbai’s extended winter!

The evening started off with some outstanding performances by their very own AXF children and volunteers. For the more experienced volunteers specially, it was a moment of pride to see the children they have been teaching for so many years to perform so confidently on stage.

With a great line up of Spoken Word artists from Radio Mirchi’s Scribbld, the crowd remained seated throughout the breeze evening. Inspiring the kids to also put forward their thoughts, AXF students read out some of their best and award winning poems.

An evening of celebrating love, compassion, dedication and a sense of belonging is how we can best describe the event. Over the years, Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Indian Ocean and many more, have taken the stage in support of the work carried out by AXF.
