As India celebrates 72 years of Independence, the sight of seeing the tricolour unfurl fills our minds with sheer joy and the pride for one's country increases immensely. Check out these places in Mumbai where the tallest flags unfurl: 



1. Haj House, 350-ft

Situated near Crawford Market in South Mumbai, these 350-ft flags unfurl on the 18-storey Haj House. The flag was inaugurated on October 2018 in the presence of Union Minister of Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. 



2. Raj Bhavan, 150-ft 

Situated in Malabar Hill, the 150-ft flag was inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao on the occasion of Maharashtra Day on May 1, 2016. 



3. Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), 150-ft

Situated outside Jindal South-West (JSW) office in BKC, this 150-ft flag was inaugurated on August 2015. There's a similar flag at Mazgaon Dock as well.

4. Mumbai University, Kalina, 150-ft 

This 150-ft flag at Mumbai University was unfurled on October 2016. Amid the huge campus of the University, the flag proudly stands tall. 



5. Bandra-Worli Sea Link, 100-ft 

In the presence of Education Minister Ashish Shelar, this 100-ft flag was unfurled on the occasion of 67 years of Independence in 2014. 



6. Nagpada Junction, 82-ft

One of the most crowded places in Mumbai, this 82-ft flag was unfurled on Nagpada Junction on February 2019 in the presence of Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar.
