Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presented the 'Vagdhara Samman 2024' to 48 eminent personalities from across the country at a function held at Andheri, Mumbai. The Awards were instituted by 'Vagdhara' an organisation working in the area of Literature, Culture, Education, Art and Social Work.   

Well known writer Nandlal Pathak (Literature) was presented the 'Vagdhara Jeevan Gaurav Samman'. Well-known Pandwani presented from Chhattisgarh Ritu Verma and senior journalist Rajesh Badal were given the 'Vagdhara Nav Ratna' Samman. Journalist and Editor Narendra Kothekar and actor Seema Biswas were presented the 'Vagdhara Swayamsiddh' Samman by the Governor.

Head of the Selection Jury Jayant Deshmukh, President of 'Vagdhara' Dr. Vageesh Saraswat, Executive President Durgeshwari Singh 'Mehak', senior journalist Vimal Mishra were present.
