Mumbaikars pay tribute to victims who died in 2006 Mumbai train blast

The series of seven blasts took place in moving trains and lasted for around 11 minutes which left 209 people dead and over 700 people injured

The local residents on Thursday paid their tribute to the people who lost their lives in 2006 Mumbai local train serial blasts. On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the terrorist attack, the residents gathered at Mahim railway station to remember the victims. 

On July 11, 2006, a series of seven serial blasts in Mumbai local trains shook the whole city killing nearly 209 people and left more than 700 injured. Indian investigative agencies found that these blasts were carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba along with ISI.
