South Mumbai's Aditya Birla World Academy (ABWA), recently undertook a vaccination drive against coronavirus for its students and staff children in association with the NH SRCC Children's Hospital. This comes in the backdrop of the government authorized inclusion of the 15-18 age group for COVID-19 vaccination, mentioned in a press release.

The vaccination drive was conducted in NH SRCC Children’s Hospital on January 10 from 2 pm to 5 pm which was applicable for students of grades 9-12.

Based on the release, the vaccination drive is believed to have brought relief to parents, especially considering the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, reflecting the urgency in India as it faces the third wave.

Commenting on organizing the drive, Principal, Aditya Birla World Academy, Radhika Sinha, said, “As we continue to navigate the pandemic, for us at Aditya Birla World Academy nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our children. We urge parents to cooperate and have their children vaccinated at the earliest.”
