Navi Mumbai: NMMC launches Homeless Shelter Centre at Ghansoli's Sector 4

A Homeless Shelter Centre has been started at Plot No. 240, Sector 4, Ghansoli from March 15, 2024 under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihood Mission by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).


The capacity of this homeless shelter centre is 103 beneficiaries and the materials such as tea, breakfast, two meals a day, drinking water from Aquaguard machine, mattress, pillow, sheet, locker for keeping luggage and TV set for entertainment etc. have been provided free of charge for the homeless. The centre has separate accommodation for men, women, disabled persons and the elderly.

The complete information about this homeless shelter centre has been given to the Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai and the departmental officers of all the eight divisions of the Municipal Corporation.
