Every day, thousands of Sai devotees from all over the country visit Sai Baba temple to have darshan of sai baba. In order to maintain the sanctity of the Sai Baba temple premises, security guards, officers and employees are now prohibited from wearing slippers and shoes.


Recently, a circular was recently issued by the Sai Baba Sansthan banning wearing chappal shoes into the premises of the Sai Temple. The implementation of this rule has been issued from May 12.

The circular signed by Shiva Shankar, the new Chief Executive Officer of Saibaba Sansthan, says that all the administrative officers, superintendents, department head employees of all departments, while entering the shrine and the temple premises should keep their footwear on the shoe stand outside each entrance. 


Also, the Defense Department should allow Sai Bhakta (devotees) and all villagers to enter Sai's Samadhi temple and temple premises only by keeping their footwear on the footwear stand outside each entrance. It has been mentioned that the said circular should be implemented immediately from May 12.
