Asha’s Kitchen

Rajiv Singal, a Mumbai-based businessman, is providing food to the people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in home isolation. Singal is providing food twice a day to 200 home isolated COVID-19 patients.

The inspiration came to him after he missed home-cooked food while he was home-quarantined after testing positive last year. Singal has hired Asha's Kitchen, a home-cooked food delivery service in Malad, for making food. It’s the same food delivery service that he had hired when he was in quarantine and was missing home-cooked food.

It delivers to the people from Mahim to Bhayander. Directors Asha Bhartia and Krishna Bhartia, who run Asha Kitchen, have started helping people by converting their 1BHK house into a kitchen.

Both the husband and wife are making two meals a day for 200 people and reaching the door of the people living in the home quarantine. But now they have started a free tiffin service for the Agrawal community. For others, it costs INR 220.
