Wagh Bakri exec Parag Desai dies after attack by street dogs

A top executive at Businessman Parag Desai,49, of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, passed away on Sunday days after he was attacked by stray dogs outside his residence. When he was trying to ward off street dogs on October 15, he suffered severe injuries, reported Ahmedabad Mirror.

A security guard who was stationed outside his residence alerted his family members about the incident after which he was rushed to Shelby Hospital. Desai was then transferred to Zydus Hospital for a surgical procedure. However, on Sunday, he succumbed to brain haemorrhage during the course of treatment.

He was the son of Rasesh Desai, Managing Director of the Wagh Bakri Tea Group and is survived by his wife Vidisha and daughter Parisha.
