Ayushman Kalita is a grade 7 student at Orchids the International School, Mumbai was recently recognized by Asia Books Of Records as the "Young Author" for his non-fiction science book ‘Black Holes in a Nutshell: The Hungry Matter no one can escape’.

Ayushman was also felicitated by the MLA of Guwahati Assam, Ex-Deputy commissioner of Guwahati, PressClub: Guwahati, and other literary dignitaries for receiving the Asia Book of Records as the youngest Author in Asia.

The book is published by Orange Book Publication and is available on Kindle, Amazon and Flipkart. Ayushman has already written and published two e-books, “Sky skip 0.2” on Rocket Science and “Morse code” on Amazon kindle.

While the rest of the world battled COVID-19, Ayushman was busy studying and developing an interest in rocket science and space travel. He discovered different facets of how Black Holes tell us about the evolution of Dwarf Galaxies or perhaps the universe's beginning as he began writing this book.

Ayushman was inspired by Stephen Hawkings, and while writing it, he also consulted his books such as "The Theory of Everything" and "Black Holes," as well as instructional videos and YouTube. He learned about the various kinds of black holes, their diameters, the Doppler Effect, and the Event Horizon concepts while penning down his thoughts. According to him the main motivation of authoring "Black Holes in a Nutshell" was to enlighten readers about black holes and to satisfy their desire for the magnificence of space in general.

Apart from this, he has a keen interest in Chess, Football, speed cubing, and animating. Additionally, Ayushman creates animations on space and rocket science on his own YouTube channel. (The Animation World). He hopes to become a highly successful rocket scientist who can aid in humankind's quest to understand the vastness of the cosmos.
