Kandivali - Mayor Cup 2016 has kick started in Kandivali, which is a handball competition which comprises 15 teams in total. For past two years the tournament was held in South Mumbai, this year it was organised in North Mumbai.
While talking to Mumbai Live, Madhu Bhandarkar, office bearer of sports authority said, 'This type of competition is boosting our players morale and girls playing in this tournament are representing railways. Many players are also representing at International level. The final of the tournament will be played between Bhandarkar Handball team and Aurangabad team. Winners will be awarded trophy and medals, along with sports kit.
