Late Narayan Aayre Smruti Chashak was bagged by civic school student Rupesh Pendse in under 17 team carrom competition. This competition took place at Dharavi’s Saint Kakkaya road where Pooja Lallappa, Sohail Sheikh, Sneha Dhade came first in other age group categories and Afsar Sheikh, Parineeta Devalkar, Tausif Ansari, and Ambika Bhandare came runner up.
Under 17 age group, Pooja Lallappa defeated Parineeta Devalkarwith 25-13 set. Under 14 age group, Sohail Sheikh defeated Tausif Ansari with 25-11 set and Sneha Dhadas defeated Ambika Bhandare by 25-14 set.
In total, 156 players had participated who got the guidance of senior supervisor Rameshwar Lohe and Shiv Chhatrapati awardee Leeladhar Chavan.
