Customs recover to hold Union Bank 1-1

Mumbai Customs rallied to hold Union Bank of India to a 1-1 draw in an Elite Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017 and played at the Andheri Sports Complex on Saturday.
Earlier, Bank of India riding on Shankar Thakur’s brace of goals blanked Soccer XI 6-0. Aishwary Bhalekar, Mitesh Patil, Rupesh Meher and Alvito Gomes scored one each to seal the win.
PIFA Colaba FC Under-17 scored an emphatic 8-0 win against Mumbai FC Under-16 in a Second Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.

Vishal Nair scored a hat-trick, while Nihal Shetty netted a brace and Himanshu Khose, Sandesh Malpole and Pruthvi More struck one each to seal the Colaba team’s win.
