Karnataka Sporting Association (KSA) and Mumbai Customs recorded victories from their respective Elite Division matches of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017 and played at the Cooperage football ground.
Earlier in the morning, Customs scored a winner at the death to overcome a spirited PIFA Colaba SC by a close 3-2 margin.
The Colaba outfit against the run of play took the lead through Hemant Meher in the 12th minute, but Customs scored with Praneel Mendon and Rinaldo Fernandes scored in the first half.
PIFA Colaba scored quickly in the second half but the Customs worked hard to get ahead with a strike from Fransico Salin in the dying moments of the match to win 3-2.
In another match, Karnataka Sporting Association scored twice in the final moments of the match to snatch a 2-0 win against Kenkre FC.
First Bishow Thapa got the opening goal in the 88th minute before Tushar Poojari scored from a penalty in the first minute of the additional period.
