Mumbai's college boy could be drafted in the ISL on Sunday

Ahead of the 2017/18 Hero Indian Super League Indian players draft, three college boys will be really anxious as they have emerged from Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) campus football championship and could be set to make their mark in the ISL.

Mumbai's Umesh Perambra, and Kerala duo Ajith Shivan and Akshay Joshy have been drafted in the draft schedule for the July 23 draft.

The talented trio first caught the eye of All India Football Federation (AIFF) scouts during the RFYS campus football championship held in January and they were then invited for India U-23 selection camp for AFC Championship Qualifiers under Stephen Constantine in Mumbai.

Umesh, who played for Thakur College (Mumbai) was very impressive during the RFYS finals.

The Hero ISL 2017/18 Player Draft will witness a total of 15 rounds. The sequence for selection of players will be determined by a draw of lots on Sunday evening.
