Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge and tweeted the same on Thursday morning on his Twitter page. PM wrote “Challenge accepted” in response to Kohli’s challenge. Along with PM, Kohli has also challenged wife Anushka Sharma and former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni to take up a fitness challenge.

 On Wednesday evening, Virat Kohli accepted the challenge and posted his video on Twitter doing 20 spider planks.

Kohli's wife and actor Anushka Sharma accepted the challenge and posted her video further tagging actor Varun Dhawan and squash player Dipika Pallikal. 

On Tuesday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore started a fitness challenge- #HumFitTohIndiaFit. An Olympic medalist, tweeted a video doing push-ups and urged people to shoot a video of their "fitness mantra" and share it. He tagged actor Hrithik Roshan, badminton champion Saina Nehwal and Virat Kohli for the same.


 Hrithik Roshan accepted the challenge and posted a video of him riding a bicycle. "This initiative makes me so proud! Bravo. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge this is how I commute to my office every day. Sitting static in a car is such a waste. Walk, cycle, jog, feel the earth, feel India get FIT!" tweeted Hrithik.

Saina Nehwal too accepted the challenge and shared a video of herself doing a physical routine. She further challenged her badminton rival PV Sindhu and Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir.

Cricketer Gautam Gambhir accepted Saina Nehwal's challenge and posted a video of his daily routine.

Likewise, Indian weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu too posted her video accepting the fitness challenge.
