What’s the story?

Google on Wednesday announced the opening of its first Google Cloud Platform (GCP) region in Mumbai. This launch will help customers to build efficient applications on the cloud after Google had this plan in the pipe for years.

The pros of the India region going live is enterprises will be able to take advantage of high speeds, performance benefits uniquely offered by GCP (Google Cloud Platform) services and low latency. The Indian customers will also be able to buy these services directly in Indian currency.

The India region offers services like compute, big data, storage, networking among others.
