Emojis have become an essential part of online vocabulary today. It’s hard to imagine an online conversation without emojis; integrating emojis in chats has become just as natural as texting. The tech giants Facebook, Apple and Twitter celebrated World Emoji Day on Tuesday by announcing overwhelming statistics on how many emojis are used on social media.

Apple, in its new iOS 12 update, is bringing forth 70 new emoji characters. These emojis will have hair colour variations, gender-neutral characters as well as mythical creatures. The update will reach the users later this year.
