Mi India, today announced the expansion of their premium flagship Mi 10 series, with the launch of Mi 10T Pro (5G) and Mi 10T (5G). With the launch of T series, the company is pushing the boundaries of power and creativity by providing unmatched specs and delivering a top-notch experience to consumers. The all-new series will aim at bringing forth new flagship experts from the House of Mi India.
Both Mi 10T Pro (5G) and Mi 10T (5G) feature 144Hz refresh rate that is also the industry’s first 7-step Intelligent AdaptiveSync display with 7 different refresh rates: 30 Hz, 48 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz and 144 Hz.
The Intelligent AdaptiveSync Display technology automatically matches the screen refresh rate with the content frame rate, thus guaranteeing not only a super smooth experience but also optimum battery usage. For example, movies (typically shot at 24FPS) are played at 48Hz, TV series (typically shot at 25 FPS) are played at 50 Hz, video recording at 60Hz, gaming at 144Hz, among other things. Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology will allow users to add more frames making the video smoother for a better viewing experience.
Given that high refresh rates fall victim to high power consumption, Intelligent AdaptiveSync Display technology helps give 8-10 per cent extra battery life. The seamless screen transitions also reduce eye discomfort and dizziness especially for gamers or while scrolling through content.
Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T pack in 5,000mAh battery. With the split charge technology, the devices will split the current flowing in, reducing the amount of charge gathering in one place. This allows better charge time with a smooth charging curve further extending the battery life cycle. Both the devices come with AI battery power optimization technology that allows more power and include an in-box 33W charger that enables the consumer to power through the day with ease
Just like the Mi 10, Mi 10T Pro features a primary 108MP flagship camera sensor that supports OIS and 8K video support. It also offers unique features such as taking 33MP pictures while shooting 8K videos and zooming-in while watching 8K videos. Mi 10T offers a 64MP main camera. With the triple camera setup, both Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T feature a 13MP ultra-wide-angle and 5MP macro lens, equipped to go as close as 2cm and shoot FHD videos in Macro mode. In the front, the devices support a 20MP lens for video calls and selfies.
Both the phones come with six standalone long exposure modes: Moving Crowd, Oil Painting, Neon Trails, Light Painting, Starry Sky and Star Trails. Another feature included in the phone is Cline that allows the user to capture four different actions in a single shot. Users can now also use cloning features in Video mode, capturing “two selves” in one video
With Dual Video, users can record from the device’s front and back cameras simultaneously, making it ideal for capturing reactions. There is also a time-lapse selfie video option for the users.
The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 865 chipset, along with Adreno 650 GPU, and LPDDR5. Mi 10T Series also comes with UFS3.1 which is one of the fastest memory standards available in the industry.
The device comes in 2 color variants - Cosmic Black with Ceramic finish and Lunar Silver with Matte frost finish. Both devices will sport an Aluminum Alloy frame with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side.
Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T will be available across Mi.com, Flipkart.com, Mi Homes and Mi Studios and retail stores at a starting price of INR 39,999 for Mi 10T Pro (8+128 GB) and INR 35,999 (6+128GB), INR 37,999 (8+128 GB) for Mi 10T.
